🌿 Roots and Bridges: Engaging Youth and Families in Cultural Awareness & Connection

A Program by C. L. Whole You Foundation | Leduc, Alberta

About the Program

Roots and Bridges is a dynamic community-based initiative that empowers youth, families, and educators across Alberta to explore cultural identity, build empathy, and foster inclusion.

We believe that strong communities are rooted in understanding and connected through shared humanity. This program brings people together—across generations and cultures—to celebrate heritage, challenge bias, and co-create safe, inclusive environments at home, in schools, and throughout our communities.

💬 Why This Matters

In our increasingly diverse province, families and schools need the tools to navigate difference with compassion, curiosity, and courage. Racism, bullying, and cultural insensitivity often grow from misunderstanding. Roots and Bridges creates opportunities to learn, reflect, and connect meaningfully across cultures.
